Michael Lofthouse, the CEO of a Silicon Valley company who was caught on video making racist comments to an Asian-American family has stepped down from his own company.
The viral video was posted by Jordan Chan, which showed Michael Lofthouse, aged-37, at Lucia Restaurant in California, harassing an Asian family who was also dining in the restaurant.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The racist can be heard telling the family:

“Asian pieces of sh*t,” “Trump is gonna f**k you,” and “you f***ers need to leave.”

He was then told to leave the Lucia Restaurant by an employee.
Jordan Chan captioned the video in her Instagram post:

“This is the face of the man who relentlessly harassed my family and I completely UNPROVOKED, UNWARRANTED, and UNCONSCIONABLE.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Michael Lofthouse said the following in an email to CNN:

“I can confirm that I have stepped down from Solid8, terminating all business relationships with immediate effect.”
“I will make it my duty to ensure my personal actions do not continue to have a detrimental impact on those people closest to me.”
Michael Lofthouse also apologized after the video went viral, saying:

“My behavior in the video is appalling,’ adding that he wanted to ‘deeply apologize’ to the Chan family.
